Ball Mill tests have shown that many application standards, such as AR-500, suffer six to seven times as much metal loss as Nitronic 30. Highly impact resistant,  it is ideal for a large range of  heavy duty applications. Proven to be the leading stainless steel in coal handling applications it will last up to three times as long as it’s nearest competitor. All of our Nitronic 30 plate is “Cold Reduced” which provides excellent slide ability and increased surface density , essentially pre-work hardening the material. The higher surface density and slide ability make Nitronic 30 SS the ideal product for applications where fines, dust, or wet material may stick and clog conveyors, chutes, or hoppers. Tests have shown the cold reduction process results in a finish equal to or better than a 2B polished finish.
